Welcome to the Pre-Law Advising Office at Emory

Pre-Law advising at Emory utilizes a holistic approach to assist and prepare students for the law school application process while considering the principles of the career development process. The decision to become a lawyer is, at its core, a career decision.  Employing self-exploration, career exploration, action planning, and implementation of your individual established plan our office ensures each student is supported throughout their journey. These four steps are essential to success in preparing for the application process, law school, and beginning a successful legal career.

As a Pre-Law student, you will be able to take advantage of numerous opportunities to gain more knowledge of possible legal careers and practice areas. An array of events will be available from panel discussions, law school networking nights and more! Utilizing 1:1 advising and mentoring, you will feel prepared to navigate the law school admission process and thrive as a law school student.

Pre-law registration is annual, so you will need to register each school year to remain on the email listserv.
